By 2025, the total amount of digital procurement in China reached 23.2 trillion yuan, with a digital penetration rate of 11.8%.
The China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing released the "2026 Digital Procurement Development Report" yesterday. According to the report, covering industries including industrial, construction, and retail/wholesale, the total amount of goods procurement by enterprises nationwide reached 19.63 trillion yuan in 2025, a year-on-year increase of 4%, with the market maintaining steady expansion at a high level. Among them, the industrial production procurement amount reached 11.33 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6%. With the acceleration of industrial upgrading, the demand for high-quality products and advanced equipment by enterprises has shifted from "quantity accumulation" to "quality improvement", leading to continuous optimization of procurement structure, especially the increasing level of digital procurement of productive supplies. In general, the total amount of digital procurement in China reached 2.32 trillion yuan in 2025, with a digital penetration rate of 11.8%, an increase of 0.3 percentage points compared to the previous year. Since 2022, the digital procurement penetration rate has been increasing year by year. Enterprise surveys show that in terms of large-scale and intelligent application scenarios, AI applications in the eight major links of bidding and tendering are gradually being implemented.
