According to the news from Oriental Zirconium Industry, on the morning of July 22, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Zirconium-based new materials research and development center and pilot plant project of Oriental Zirconium Industry was held at the project site in Dongli Town, Chenghai District, Shantou City. The total investment of this research and development center and pilot plant project is approximately 150 million yuan, with a total construction area of approximately 21,000 square meters. It will build a high-standard research and development building, a science and technology talent apartment, and supporting underground civil air defense projects, creating a full-chain innovation platform integrating basic research, technological breakthroughs, pilot testing, results transformation, and talent aggregation.
