CITIC Securities: Chemical products exports in June continue to remain high on a year-on-year basis.
CITIC Securities Research Report pointed out that in June, the export of chemical products continued to be high: The export amount of chemical products in June was 302.5 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 22.7% and a month-on-month increase of 3.4%; The cumulative export amount from January to June was 1.6045 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13.7%.
In terms of categories, the export of plastics and their products was 112 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 24.0%, and the export of organic chemicals was 68.6 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 40.0%. The two categories together contributed to approximately 74% of the monthly export increase.
In terms of countries/regions, the export of chemical products to India increased by 46.6% year-on-year, to South Korea by 42.7%, and to Russia by 33.0%, with these three countries/regions leading in export growth. The petrochemical and coal chemical sectors maintained significant increases in output, with butadiene, vinyl acetate, and ethylene glycol leading in month-on-month export volume growth.
