Chicago wheat futures rose by about 4.2%, while corn and soybeans rose by up to 1.9% at most.
On Wednesday, the Bloomberg Commodity Index rose 2.50% to 32.9953 points in the New York session. At 14:37 Beijing time, it slightly fell to 32.1687 points, hitting a daily low before continuing to rise. By 23:48, it reached 33.0597 points, approaching the highs of May 19 at 33.3410 points and May 13 at 33.6912 points. CBOT corn futures rose 1.89% to $4.8425 per bushel. CBOT wheat futures rose 4.17% to $7.0625 per bushel. CBOT soybean futures rose 1.27% to $12.3825 per bushel, while soybean meal futures rose 1.71% and soybean oil futures rose 1.54%. CBOT lean hog futures rose 0.23%, live cattle futures fell 1.80%, and feeder cattle futures fell 2.56%.
