The Digital Silk Road Development Forum at the World Internet Conference in 2026 opens.

This morning, the 2026 World Internet Conference Digital Silk Road Development Forum, hosted by the World Internet Conference and organized by the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government, opened in Xi'an. About 800 guests from 52 countries and regions around the world, as well as 7 international organizations, attended the forum. This is the third consecutive year that the World Internet Conference has held the Digital Silk Road Development Forum. The theme of this forum is "Intelligence Silk Road, New Start - Building a Community of Shared Future in Cyberspace together," bringing together guests from various sectors such as government, industry, academia, and research around topics such as cooperation and development of "Silk Road e-commerce," collaborative innovation development in the era of intelligence, protection and inheritance of cultural heritage in the era of intelligence, smart health, and other topics for specialized forums. Attendees will discuss strategies for collaborative innovation in intelligent technology development, ways to connect digital infrastructure, and exchange paths for digital civilization, promoting consensus among countries along the "Belt and Road" initiative to seize the new opportunities for intelligent development together.
