In the first half of the year, Shaanxi's import and export grew by 93.7% compared with the same period last year.

According to the Shaanxi Daily, on July 21, Li Jinsheng, deputy director of Xi'an Customs, introduced at a press conference held by the provincial government's press office: "In the first half of this year, Shaanxi's total import and export volume reached 472.75 billion yuan, setting a record high, with a year-on-year growth of 93.7%, ranking first in the country in terms of growth rate, 76.8 percentage points higher than the national average. Among them, exports reached 367.59 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 115.7%, 102.3 percentage points higher than the national average; imports reached 105.16 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 42.9%, 20.8 percentage points higher than the national average."
