On July 20th, the China Securities Investment Fund Industry Association released the latest issue of the "Monthly Report on Registration and Filing of Private Fund Managers and Products." The data shows that as of the end of June 2026, the total assets under management of private equity funds reached 23.66 trillion yuan, once again breaking the historical record and hitting a new high for the ninth consecutive month. Among them, the total assets under management of private equity securities funds exceeded 8 trillion yuan for the first time. At the same time, the private placement market remains hot. In June, the total size of newly registered private equity funds in the market reached 1091.67 billion yuan, breaking the one trillion yuan mark again after February and March this year, and the number of newly registered products in a single month also exceeded 2,000.
