NVIDIA announces that its Vera Rubin platform, aimed at "gigabit-level AI factories", is being globally deployed by CoreWeave, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and Oracle Cloud, among others, who have already started using the Vera Rubin NVL72 system. NVIDIA claims that CoreWeave tests show that the Vera Rubin NVL72 can achieve a 10x increase in Token throughput per megawatt compared to the Grace Blackwell NVL72. This platform integrates Vera CPU, Rubin GPU, NVLink 6, ConnectX-9 SuperNIC, BlueField-4 DPU, and Spectrum-6 switching systems in order to enhance AI training and inference efficiency. NVIDIA states that Vera Rubin has already covered over 350 factory nodes worldwide and aims to reduce AI infrastructure costs and improve energy efficiency in more than 30 countries.
