According to Cnstock, on Tuesday, Halliburton (HAL.US) fell nearly 6%, to $33.07. In terms of news, the financial report showed that the world's largest hydraulic fracturing service provider Halliburton Q2 revenue was $5.71 billion, a year-on-year increase of 3.7%, better than market expectations; adjusted earnings per share were $0.55, better than market expectations; but adjusted operating profit was $683 million, a year-on-year decrease of 6.1%, lower than analysts' average expectation of $688.7 million. In the conference call on July 21st, the company predicted that drilling and evaluation business revenue in the third quarter would decrease by 3% to 5% compared to the second quarter, well completion and production business revenue would remain flat to a decrease of 2%, overall revenue guidance was weak.
