The United States issued a global security alert twice in three days.
Due to the escalating situation in the Middle East, the US State Department issued a global security alert again on the 20th, advising American citizens in the Middle East to remain vigilant and urging American citizens in other regions to reconsider traveling to the Middle East. This is the second time in the past three days that the US State Department has issued a global security alert to American citizens. The US State Department stated that due to the escalating tension in the Middle East, the security environment is complex, and there is a possibility of sudden escalation. American citizens currently in the Middle East should remain vigilant, act cautiously, and prepare for possible flight cancellations, temporary airspace closures, and travel interruptions. At the same time, American citizens in regions outside the Middle East should reconsider their travel plans to or through that region.
