China Merchants Shipping Corporation announcement, its wholly-owned subsidiary Minghua in Hong Kong has become a key participant in the overseas transportation of critical minerals for the Simandou project, and plans to sign a "Long-Term Transport Agreement" with a Chinese mineral resources supply chain company that owns the shipping rights for Simandou iron ore products. The Simandou project is a large-scale high-quality open-pit iron ore mining project located in the Kerouane Province of southeastern Guinea in West Africa, with confirmed reserves of approximately 4.4 billion tons of high-grade iron ore. After completion, the total annual production capacity can reach 120 million tons. As an important transportation service provider for the Simandou project, Minghua in Hong Kong has already completed the transport of approximately 600,000 tons of critical minerals for the project.
