The Glory Sub-forum on "From Digital Screens to Embodied Intelligence - A New Paradigm in the Physical World" was held on the afternoon of the 17th. Dr. Hao Xu, Global Vice President of Qualcomm, Head of R&D in China, and IEEE Fellow, stated that "the era of intelligent entities has arrived." Dr. Xu opened with this statement and systematically explained the underlying paradigm shift brought by the wave of intelligent entities to the terminal industry. He mentioned that intelligent entities are not only an upgrade in interaction methods, but also a reconstruction of terminal design concepts - devices need to shift from "passive response" to "active service", which presents new requirements for terminal perception capabilities, AI computing power, and real-time connectivity. Therefore, Qualcomm is taking measures such as heterogeneous computing architecture, optimization of edge perception capabilities, extensive coverage of terminal products, to build an ecosystem centered on intelligent entities, deepen cooperation with partners like Glory, and accelerate the implementation of intelligent entity experiences and terminals.
