After the 7.4 magnitude earthquake near Mexico's coast, aftershocks continue.

On the 17th local time, according to the Mexican National Seismological Service, aftershocks continued following a 7.4 magnitude earthquake off the southern coast of Mexico. Aftershocks measuring 4.5, 5.8, and 6.5 magnitudes occurred near the epicenter at 9:09:21, 9:14:56, and 9:20:10 respectively. The epicenters of the aftershocks were located southwest of the city of Juchitn, Chiapas state, with a depth of 10 kilometers. There have been no reports of casualties or property damage. The earthquake early warning system in Mexico City did not activate.
