The Ministry of Water Resources has launched a three-year action plan for modernizing hydrological monitoring.

The Ministry of Water Resources recently issued the "Three-year Action Plan for Modernization of Hydrological Information", initiating a three-year action plan for the modernization of hydrology. The Action Plan proposes that by 2028, the national hydrological station network system will be further optimized, the three-dimensional perception capability of rainwater monitoring will be further enhanced, and the scope of coupling and penetration of the "three lines of defense" will be further expanded to include the major river basins with flood prevention tasks.
