Binhua Corporation (601678.SH) plans to invest 1.822 billion yuan to build a halogenated butyl rubber project.

In order to accelerate the company's green and low-carbon transformation and development, the company plans to invest 1.822 billion yuan in planning and constructing a 250,000 tons/year special rubber integrated project through its wholly-owned subsidiary Shandong Binhe New Materials Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Binhe New Materials"). The project is planned to be constructed in two phases, with the company planning to first construct the first phase, which is a 70,000 tons/year halogenated butyl rubber project. The second phase project will be submitted to the company's competent authority for approval and construction at an appropriate time according to market conditions.
