AI Agents start collaborating: Step and Alipay interoperate to solve the "last mile" issue.

On July 17th, at the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference, Alipay and Jieyue reached a cooperation agreement at the system level for AI Agent. The two parties will deepen collaboration around Jieyues STEP-X native AI terminal, allowing users to access the AI version of Alipay, known as "A Bao," through natural language, connecting to real services and enabling cross-application and multitasking execution. This collaboration will drive intelligent systems towards a new stage of "cross-platform interconnectivity for tasks."
