Due to Meituan expanding the "Billion Cell Map" project, a new AI drug development company has been added.

On July 16th, local time, the company Mina announced that three new members had joined the "Billion Cell Atlas" alliance, including the artificial intelligence native drug development company Formation Bio. The atlas is set to launch in January 2026, with founding members including AstraZeneca, Merck, and Eli Lilly. The atlas can help users discover and validate new targets, characterize drug mechanisms and disease mechanisms, and explore potential new indications. As of now, the project has completed sequencing of over 350 million cells and generated over 6 PB of genomic data.
