In the first half of the year, the GDP of Henan Province increased by 5.0%.

The Henan Provincial Bureau of Statistics and the Henan Survey Detachment of the National Bureau of Statistics have released the economic performance of the province in the first half of 2026. According to the unified accounting results of the gross regional product, the gross regional product of the province in the first half of the year was 33,521.58 billion yuan, calculated at constant prices, a year-on-year increase of 5.0%. By industry, the value added of the primary industry was 2,279.18 billion yuan, an increase of 4.0%; the value added of the secondary industry was 13,006.22 billion yuan, an increase of 5.4%; and the value added of the tertiary industry was 18,236.18 billion yuan, an increase of 4.9%.
