Domestically produced large-diameter shield machine "Vanguard" goes offline in Changsha.

On July 17th, the domestically produced 14-meter large-diameter tunnel boring machine "Pioneer" jointly developed by China Railway 14th Bureau and CRCC was successfully launched in Changsha, Hunan. The "Pioneer" tunnel boring machine that was launched this time has a digging diameter of 14.02 meters, a total length of approximately 112 meters, and a total weight of approximately 3200 tons. It will be used in the construction of the first domestic super large-diameter tunnel under Taihu Lake the Taihu Lake Crossing section of the Wuxi-Yixing Intercity Rail Transit Project.
