The three major stock indexes in A-shares collectively fell today. As of the close, the Shanghai Composite Index fell 3.05%, the Shenzhen Component Index fell 5.4%, the ChiNext Index fell 7.15%, the BeiZi 50 fell 2.31%, and the Sci-Tech Innovation 50 Index fell 7.12%. The total turnover of the whole market was 2,671.6 billion yuan, an increase of 252.7 billion yuan from the previous day, with over 5,000 stocks falling in the entire market. In terms of sectors and themes, the power and banking sectors rose, while the semiconductor, CPO, CRO concepts, components, and storage chip sectors saw the biggest declines. On the market, the power sector opened low but rebounded, with stocks like Leshan Power, Huayin Power, Ganergy shares, and Shenzhen Nandian all hitting the limit up, and Jiawei New Energy rose by over 10%. The banking sector showed resilience, with Construction Bank, Bank of China, ICBC, and Agricultural Bank leading the gains. The semiconductor sector suffered a major downturn, with companies like Zhaoyi Innovation, Dawei Shares, Demingli, and Huatian Technology all hitting the limit down, with over fifty stocks falling by over 10%. The CRO concept sector saw a sharp pullback, with stocks like Zhaoyan Pharmaceutical, Baicheng Medicine, and Bai'ao Situ all hitting the limit down, and Haoyuan Medicine, Hongbo Medicine, and Yinuo Si falling by over 10%. The fiber optic concept sector also continued to decline, with stocks like Changguang Huaxin, Changfei Fiber, Guoxun Technology, ZTE, and Changjiang Communication all hitting the limit down, and Julight Technology, Dingtong Technology, Tianfu Communications falling by over 10%.
