A car fell into a valley in northwest Peru, resulting in the deaths of 14 people.
According to Peruvian media reports on the 16th, a small minibus in the northwestern Cahamarca province of the country lost control and plunged into a valley, causing at least 14 deaths and 5 injuries. The report said that the vehicle lost control and veered off the road into the valley when traveling to the San Juan area of Cahamarca province in the afternoon. After the accident, Peruvian national police, medical personnel, and firefighters rushed to the scene to carry out rescue and investigation work. Edson Roman, head of the local fire department, said that among the victims were minors, and the injured have been taken to the hospital for treatment.
