State Administration of Foreign Exchange: Economic structural adjustment is driving the steady expansion of China's cross-border services. By 2025, the scale of service trade imports and exports will exceed $1 trillion USD, with a 10% year-on-year growth continuing in the first five months of 2026. China is the world's second largest service import market, with service imports better meeting the diverse needs of residents and providing a large market for global service industry development. In the past five years, China's service trade exports have grown at an average annual rate of 14%, and by 2025, the scale will almost double that of 2020, with a 21% year-on-year growth in service trade exports in the first five months of 2026.
