Zhitong Finance APP learned that on Thursday, Standard Nuclear (STDN.US) landed on the US stock market, with a first-day trading drop of 18%, closing at $12.3. The IPO price was $15. Standard Nuclear is responsible for the design, engineering, manufacturing, and production of TRISO fuel, which is an advanced nuclear fuel used in small modular reactors and microreactors. The company operates the only dedicated industrial-grade TRISO production line in the United States, which was acquired through bankruptcy auction from Ultra Safe Nuclear company in 2024. The company's revenue mainly comes from fuel development agreements signed with commercial customers and US government agencies, with a total contract backlog of up to $245 million as of now.
