In the second quarter, the sales of the U.S. aluminum industry increased by 31% year-on-year to $3.97 billion, lower than analysts' expectations of $4.02 billion. Adjusted EBITDA was $901 million, compared to $313 million in the same period last year. The company maintains its full-year aluminum production forecast at 2.4 million to 2.6 million tons and its full-year aluminum shipping forecast at 2.6 million to 2.8 million tons.
