Wang Yi meets with Pakistani Vice President and Foreign Minister Dar.

On the evening of July 16, Wang Yi, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Pakistani Vice Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Dar in Shanghai, who came to attend the World Artificial Intelligence Conference. Wang Yi welcomed Dar to China to attend the conference and sign the agreement on the establishment of the World Artificial Intelligence Cooperation Organization on behalf of the Pakistani government, saying that Pakistan's participation is in line with the long-term interests of the country and its people, injecting new content into the all-weather strategic cooperation partnership between China and Pakistan. Artificial intelligence is a new frontier of technological development. China, as a responsible major country, is working with like-minded countries to promote the establishment of the World Artificial Intelligence Cooperation Organization, aiming to build international consensus, promote practical cooperation, strengthen capacity building, ensure that all countries, especially those in the global South, benefit equally from the wave of intelligence, and prevent the world from experiencing an intelligence gap. China is willing to enhance coordination and cooperation with Pakistan, promote the development of artificial intelligence for the benefit of all, and help drive economic growth in developing countries and global technological innovation progress.
