Today, many broad-based ETFs saw a surge in trading volume in the final trading session.

On July 16th, as the closing bell approached, several broad-based ETFs such as Huatai Bairui CSI 300 ETF, Southern CSI 1000 ETF, and Southern CSI 500 ETF saw significant buying pressure. The trading volume of Huatai Bairui CSI 300 ETF and Southern CSI 1000 ETF today increased significantly compared to yesterday, rising from 13.98 billion yuan and 36.69 billion yuan respectively to 79.09 billion yuan and 56.45 billion yuan. Semiconductor and chip-themed ETFs fell by more than 5% today, with a cumulative decline of over 20% since July; Hong Kong internet stocks continued to rebound, with several Hong Kong internet-themed ETFs rising by over 17% since July.
