Nissan Motor Company unveiled the all-new redesigned Juke MPV model in Japan on Thursday, aiming to regain the market share in this segment that has been firmly held by Toyota. This is the first update in 16 years for this model, featuring Nissan's third-generation e-Power extended-range hybrid system where the engine serves only as a generator to power the vehicle. The starting price for the new car is set at 6.9 million yen, with a fuel consumption of approximately 5.95 liters per 100 kilometers, representing a 70% improvement in fuel efficiency compared to the previous generation model. Nissan plans to equip the Juke with next-generation driving assistance technology powered by artificial intelligence by the end of the 2027 fiscal year, and expand the product lineup for this series.
