The 2026 China-ASEAN Trade Promotion and Supply Chain Cooperation Mechanism Docking Exchange Conference will be held.

On July 16th, the 2026 China-ASEAN Trade Promotion and Supply Chain Cooperation Mechanism docking and exchange meeting, jointly organized by the Guangdong Provincial People's Government and the China-ASEAN Center, was held in Guangzhou. Meng Fanli, Vice Secretary of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and Governor, and Zhang Lizhong, Secretary-General of the China-ASEAN Center, attended and delivered speeches. Meng Fanli stated that Guangdong and ASEAN countries are close neighbors across the sea, and have fully utilized the unique advantages of the province to form a wide-ranging and comprehensive cooperation pattern in trade, investment, tourism, culture, and other areas. ASEAN has been Guangdong's largest trading partner for six consecutive years. Guangdong is a pioneer, a leading area, and an experimental zone in China's reform and opening up. It is the province with the largest economic aggregate, the largest population, and the largest number of enterprises and market players. It is also a very good point of connection for personnel, goods, and capital to participate in domestic and international dual circulation. Zhang Lizhong stated that China and ASEAN are good neighbors, friends, and partners with shared destiny. Over the past 35 years of establishing a dialogue relationship, the two sides have become one of the most dynamic and fruitful models of cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region and even globally. In the future, the China-ASEAN Center will continue to deepen cooperation with Guangdong in various fields, fully leverage Guangdong's advantages in manufacturing, technological innovation, and openness to contribute to the development of the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and ASEAN.
