Toyota's subsidiary in Japan is recalling more than 10,000 single-seater small EVs.

Toyota's subsidiary, Toyota Body, reported to the Japanese Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism on July 15 that it is recalling a total of 11,467 units of the single-seat small pure electric car "COMS" due to defects in the parking brake. There have been a total of 32 reports of brake failure and other malfunctions. The company also conducted a recall in January of this year due to defects in the parking brake line, and there is overlap with some of the vehicles affected by this current recall.
