Honeycomb Energy Chairman Yang Hongxin: Low-cost mass production of solid-liquid batteries is imminent, with a target delivery of 70,000 units by 2027.

On July 16, Hunan Energy held the 2026 Partner Summit in Jintan. Yang Hongxin, Chairman of Hunan Energy, announced at the meeting that the first nickel-cobalt mixed solid-liquid battery released earlier this year will officially enter mass production in the third quarter, with a delivery volume of over 8,000 units this year and over 70,000 units in 2027. "Hunan Energy is expected to become a leading company in China to achieve low-cost mass production of mixed solid-liquid batteries in the next two years," Yang Hongxin said.
