Nore and Nod oral weight loss drug approved by the European Commission.

On July 15th local time, Danish pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk announced that the European Commission has approved the marketing of Wegovy oral tablets for the treatment of obesity or overweight in adults with at least one weight-related comorbidity, as an adjunct to a low-calorie diet and increased physical activity. Wegovy oral tablets have also become the first oral GLP-1 drug for weight management in the European Union.
