The Hong Kong Tourism Board announced today that the number of visitors to Hong Kong in the first half of 2026 is approximately 26.71 million, an increase of 13% compared to the previous year. Among them, there are about 20.56 million visitors from mainland China. The data shows that the long-haul market performed well in the first half of the year, and the MICE tourism sector also achieved significant results. The Tourism Board looks forward to launching more large-scale international conferences and new global promotions in the second half of the year to further attract high-value overnight tourists to Hong Kong.
