On the morning of July 15th, a serious traffic accident occurred on the Crown Range Road near Queenstown, South Island, New Zealand, resulting in the unfortunate death of a Hong Kong compatriot. The Consulate General in Christchurch is deeply saddened and has activated its emergency response mechanism immediately. The Consulate General extends its heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased and will provide consular assistance to them for post-mortem arrangements in New Zealand.
