NVIDIA Corporation and four leading Japanese industrial automation companies have announced that they will expand their collaboration in the field of robot development to further advance Huang Renxun's development strategy in the field of artificial intelligence hardware. Fujitsu, Fanuc, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, and Yasukawa Electric will join the Cosmos Alliance led by NVIDIA. The alliance, composed of companies and research institutions, aims to accelerate the adoption of what is known in the industry as physical AI using the NVIDIA platform. Physical AI covers a wide range of applications, including humanoid robots, factory automation systems, autonomous vehicles, smart buildings, and intelligent railway systems. In addition, Hitachi, NEC Corporation, Komatsu, and Kubota will also join the alliance. NVIDIA, headquartered in Santa Clara, California, has this week sent a delegation of executives led by co-founder Huang Renxun to Japan to promote the concept of building a "physical AI" ecosystem and expand business cooperation.
