82 local councils in Japan demand adherence to the three non-nuclear principles.
According to a report from the Japanese Kyodo News on July 14, since the establishment of the Koike administration in Tokyo last October, 82 local councils in Japan have submitted opinions to the central government or the national parliament, requesting that the Koike administration adhere to the "three non-nuclear principles" or legalize the "three non-nuclear principles." The report points out that in previous Japanese governments, there were either no similar opinions or only a few, but during the Koike administration, the number has increased significantly, reflecting the high level of concern in Japanese society about the Koike administration's possible modification of the "three non-nuclear principles."
