Our country's first self-designed and built deep-sea, intelligent submarine cable construction vessel, the "Tianyi Navigator," officially joined the fleet in Shanghai yesterday and began comprehensive system sea cable construction trials, laying a solid foundation for the development of computing power and artificial intelligence. The "Tianyi Navigator" has a length of 116 meters, with the ability to lay, maintain, and repair submarine cables in global waters. The ship is 24 meters wide, 12 meters deep, with a full load displacement of 18,000 tons, and its cable hold can carry 8,000 tons of submarine communication cables, ranking first in the world.
