China Eastern Airlines opens direct flight route from Shanghai to Tbilisi

At around 19:00 on the 15th local time, the MU285 flight from Shanghai Pudong International Airport smoothly landed at Tbilisi International Airport, the capital of Georgia, marking the official opening of China Eastern Airlines' direct flight from Shanghai to Tbilisi. At the route promotion meeting held that evening, Georgian Prime Minister Kobaishvili stated that in recent years, relations between Georgia and China have been developing rapidly, and the opening of the new route will make an important contribution to further bilateral relations.
