Brain-computer interface welcomes the dual blessing of policy and capital, accelerating the industry to establish a commercialization landing route.
On July 15, the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission announced that the first prescription for the implanted brain-computer interface hand movement compensation system approved for listing was issued in Shanghai on July 13. The first global implanted surgery was completed at Huashan Hospital, affiliated with Fudan University. The brain-computer interface product was approved for listing in March of this year. Boosted by this news, on July 15, A-share brain-computer interface concept stocks rose, with Hainan Haiyao hitting the daily limit, and companies like MIP Medical and Yingqu Technology following suit. Industry experts believe that China's development level in the field of brain-computer interfaces is among the top in the world, with potential for overtaking in the curve relying on a complete industrial chain and engineering dividends. However, there are still shortcomings in basic research in brain nerve layers and specialized chip fields. The industry is breaking through from multiple dimensions such as policy guidance, industrial aggregation, and technological iteration, steadily building a complete commercial ecosystem.
