NVIDIA CEO Huang Renxun denies product delay rumors and states that Vera Rubin will be delivered to customers as planned.
In response to claims that manufacturing issues could lead to product delays, NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang said that the company's next-generation artificial intelligence acceleration computing system has entered the production stage and will be delivered to customers as planned. Huang told reporters in Tokyo on Wednesday that the Vera Rubin hardware is being produced on a "large scale" as planned, but did not disclose a specific timeline. Research firm SemiAnalysis reported earlier this month that the launch of NVIDIA's next-generation AI server rack system would be delayed due to difficulties encountered in manufacturing a specialized circuit board for connecting electronic modules. Huang responded, "These claims are not accurate. Vera Rubin is already in production, and mass production is about to begin."
