Chongqing issues a level 2 heatstroke warning as sunny and high temperatures continue.

The reporter learned from the Chongqing Meteorological Bureau that since July 7th, Chongqing has experienced widespread high temperatures. Yuzhong, Shapingba, Dadukou, Jiulongpo, Nan'an, High-tech Zone, Beibei, Tongnan, Fengdu, Pengshui, Zhongxian, Liangping, Yunyang, Kaizhou, Fengjie, Wushan, Wuxi, and 17 other districts have had consecutive 7-9 days with daily high temperatures exceeding 37C; Yuzhong, Shapingba, Dadukou, Jiulongpo, Nan'an, Liangjiang New District, High-tech Zone, Beibei, Banan, Bishan, Jiangjin, Yunyang, Fengjie, Wuxi, Pengshui, and 15 other districts have had consecutive 2 days with daily high temperatures exceeding 40C. It is expected that on July 16th, Chongqing will continue to have clear hot weather, with daily high temperatures exceeding 37C in most areas. Yuzhong, Shapingba, Dadukou, Jiulongpo, Nan'an, High-tech Zone, Beibei, Bishan, Tongnan, Hechuan, Yongchuan, Tongliang, Jiangjin, Fengjie, and 14 other districts can reach daily high temperatures of 40C to 42C; Liangjiang New District, Banan, Dazu, Rongchang, Qijiang, Changshou, Fuling, Zhongxian, Kaizhou, Yunyang, Wuxi, Wushan, Wulong, and Pengshui, and 14 other districts can reach daily high temperatures of 37C to 40C, making it very susceptible to heatstroke.
