Tencent Cloud: Starting from August 1st, over-usage of storage space for local instances of the cloud database MySQL will be charged.

On July 15, Tencent Cloud announced that in order to ensure the stability of its cloud database MySQL service, avoid the long-term overuse of storage space by local disk instances affecting resource security, and maintain fair resource use, Tencent Cloud will start charging for the overused storage space of cloud database MySQL local disk instances from 00:00:00 on August 1, 2026. Overuse fees will not be retroactively charged for overused storage space that occurred before the effective date.
