Bayer signs hybrid wheat licensing agreement with RAGT

On July 15th, Bayer issued a statement stating that it has signed an exclusive licensing agreement with the European wheat seed company RAGT, with the goal of expanding the sales of hybrid wheat seeds in Europe and North America in sync until the early 2030s. The agreement covers the licensing of wheat germplasm resources customized for the European environment. Bayer stated that its goal is to achieve annual revenues of up to 1 billion euros from hybrid wheat by the mid-2040s.
