In June, the total electricity consumption was 898.1 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 3.7%. Looking at electricity consumption by industry, the electricity consumption in the primary industry was 13.6 billion kilowatt hours, a year-on-year increase of 2.0%. The electricity consumption in the secondary industry was 573.4 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 4.7%; among which, the electricity consumption in the industrial sector was 568.3 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 4.9%, and the electricity consumption in the high-tech and equipment manufacturing industry was 112.1 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 10.3%. The electricity consumption in the tertiary industry was 186 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 5.6%; among which, the electricity consumption in charging and swapping services and Internet data services were 14.8 billion and 9.1 billion kilowatt-hours, with growth rates of 57.1% and 41.4% respectively. The electricity consumption for urban and rural residents' daily living was 125.1 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year decrease of 3.1%.
