National Highway Traffic Safety Administration: Toyota will recall 5,400 cars in the United States.

On July 15, according to a recall notice posted online by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration of the United States, Toyota Motor Corporation is recalling 5,408 vehicles in the United States. Toyota will recall certain 2026 models of Lexus TX plug-in hybrid vehicles, TX hybrid vehicles, Toyota Grand Highlander hybrid vehicles, and Grand Highlander models. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration of the United States stated that the rear axle bracket of these vehicles may have a risk of fracturing due to insufficient material strength during manufacturing. The fracture of the rear axle bracket may lead to a sudden loss of vehicle stability and maneuverability, thereby increasing the risk of collision accidents.
