Stocks in Hong Kong surged as Hong Kong real estate stocks all rose in the first half of the year, with property prices in Hong Kong exceeding expectations. Citigroup predicts that the performance of developers will improve.

As of the time of publication, Henderson Land Development (00012.HK) is up 4.51% at 26.86 Hong Kong dollars; New World Development (00016.HK) is up 4% at 122.1 Hong Kong dollars; Cheung Kong Property Holdings (01113.HK) is up 2.72% at 46.78 Hong Kong dollars; and New World Development (00017) is up 1.54% at 6.58 Hong Kong dollars.
