On July 15th, Wang Guanhua, spokesperson for the National Bureau of Statistics and deputy director of the Department of National Economy Comprehensive Statistics, stated at a press conference hosted by the State Council Information Office that since the beginning of this year, the policy of trading in old products for new ones has been optimized for consumer goods, and smart glasses have been included in the subsidy scope. In the first half of the year, the retail sales of wearable smart devices, including smart glasses, increased by more than double, while the retail sales of high energy efficiency home appliances increased by more than 30%. The consumption model of "performing arts +" such as concerts, music festivals, and sports events continues to heat up, better meeting the high-quality spiritual and immersive experiential needs of the public.
