A group of Chinese public health experts went to the "Emergency Management Support Team" to support the prevention and control of the Ebola epidemic.
The reporter learned from the National Health Commission that, at the joint invitation of the African Center for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization, this morning, the Public Health Expert Group of China's "Emergency Management Support Team" departed from Beijing and headed to Uganda to carry out international cooperation in the prevention and control of the Ebola epidemic. It is understood that two technical experts are sent by the National Health Commission, both of whom have rich practical experience in dealing with major infectious diseases on-site and international public health cooperation. After their arrival, the two technical experts will join the IMST working group to participate in the assessment of the Ebola epidemic, formulation of prevention and control plans, and on-site emergency coordination with experts from various countries.
