Jiangte Motor announced that it is expected to incur a net loss attributable to shareholders of the listed company of 180-220 million yuan in the first half of 2026, compared to a loss of 114 million yuan in the same period last year; the net profit after deducting non-recurring gains and losses is expected to be a loss of 80-100 million yuan, compared to a loss of 161 million yuan in the same period last year. The reason for the performance change is that the lithium sector is facing difficulties due to the core lithium mine Xiken not being developed yet, resulting in inadequate capacity utilization and high unit production costs due to the purchase of lithium ore. The profitability of the lithium salt business is limited and the company is operating at a loss.
