Hong Kong Customs: first enforcement report completed 81 investigations last year, with 22 disciplinary actions resulting in fines exceeding 11.7 million.

According to the Wise Finance APP, the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) has released its first "Annual Enforcement Report". In the past year, the Institute has completed a total of 81 investigations and inquiries, as well as 22 disciplinary cases, resulting in disciplinary actions against 35 regulated entities, including public censures and total fines exceeding 11.7 million yuan. The Institute has also taken other disciplinary measures in appropriate cases, including temporary suspension of registration and cancellation of practice certificates.
