In June 2026, China General Nuclear Power Corporation's (CGN) new energy announced that the company and its subsidiaries completed a total electricity generation of 1331.5 gigawatt-hours, a decrease of 5.1% compared to the same period in 2025. Among them, wind power projects in China decreased by 17.1%, solar power projects in China increased by 33.5%, gas power projects in China increased by 6.3%, hydro power projects in China decreased by 10.5%, and projects in Korea decreased by 6.5%. From January to June 2026, the total electricity generation completed was 9307.3 gigawatt-hours, a decrease of 2.2% compared to the same period last year. Among them, wind power projects in China decreased by 17.9%, solar power projects in China increased by 35.3%, gas power projects in China increased by 3.7%, hydro power projects in China increased by 12.3%, and projects in Korea increased by 12.8%.
